USE
Hunton Silencio Thermo gives the benefits of Silencio - excellent insulation against impact sound - with a factory grooved finish to provide an economical and convenient solution to the need for an insulating underlay for underfloor piped heating systems.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Hunton Silencio is a high performance fibreboard underlay for floors. It gives enhanced acoustic performance as well as comfort.
PART 1 - INTRODUCTION
Silencio and Silencio Thermo were developed in Norway in close co-operation with the Norwegian Building Research Institute (NBI) - a member of the European Union of Agrément (UEAtc) and the European Organisation for Technical Approvals (EOTA).
Product
Hunton Silencio Thermo consists of two types of boards; standard boards with straight grooves and boards for return. The boards come with 16 or 17 mm grooves and several centres.
Benefits
The boards give excellent impact sound insulation, they are light weight and easy to handle and cut. Hunton Silencio Thermo can be put on all types of floor construction. Laminate and wooden floors can be laid directly on to the surface.
