POLYPROFILE

USE
Polyprofile is designed for use on any sloped roof constructed of corrugated asbestos cement sheeting. It may also be used on all types of metal profiled sheeting.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
For overlay on existing asbestos cement roofs. Complete refurbishment and insulation without disruption to the use of the building. Suitable for use with all waterproofings, also available with integral mesh to ensure 100% security against break-in.
PART 1 - SPECIFICATION
1.1 Performance:
Polypfofile when fixed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions is sufficiently strong to provide a roof of limited access when placed on existing asbestos cement sheeting.

1.2 Fixing:
Polyprofile is fixed by Peel-Rivets with suitable load bearing washers to the existing asbestos sheet and self-drive screws fixed to supporting purlins.
Note: Frequency of fixings will be determined by the condition of the existing asbestos sheet.

1.4 Thermal Conductivity:
0.20 W/m2K.
1.5 Strength:
(Tensile) the panel requires full support to underside (Compressive) not less than 175 KpA.
1.6 Fire:
The fire performance will depend entirely on the fire rating of the water-proofing in place.
1.7 Water-Proofing:
Approved systems compatible with bitumen impregnated overlay board. Polyprofile can be supplied with a range of facings to suit most water-proofing systems.
